"NKVD" Fire Squad on Chalcyn-Gol in 1939?
There were some rumors/noise about quite severe behaviour of gen. Zukov during the battle on Chalcyn-Gol. He is precived, known as a very "sharp", not forgiving slightes fauls, errors commander, who had given many sentences to shoot Russian soldiers.
During the battle on Chalchin-Gol Zukov had given some orders to kill soldiers who had refused to fight - "deserters, panikers, cowards".
Is this true or not?
I have hard, that was in TV (Russian -?) a program, which told about this Zukov's behaviour, and in Mongolia had been discovered during the road construction, or similar building works
such burial places with "tens or hundreds-?" Russian killed by fire squads - NKVD
