Первый случай - это вероятно .
One of the Americans, Harold Welch, was killed in a crash at Hankow Airport early in January 1938
второй наверняка - One of the Frenchmen, Laroche, resigned in mid-February 1938 after an accident when landing a Vultee at Hankow in which one of the Soviet groundcrew was killed. He felt responsible for the man’s death.
