My friends (some from the Szolnok Aircraft Museum's researcher team) have successfully recovered the remains of many crashed Soviet warplanes in Hungary and I helped them with the "paper work" in terms of the potetntial crews of those planes, but for the proper identification we would need their serial numbers. I am wondering if you, or any of your contact persons would be able to help us from TsAMO (Podolsk) to get -only- the missing and needed few plane serial numbers for certain crews we are researching. I could give you the names, dates and the units of the planes and I only need their plane serial number (and if pissible) fuselage or battle number. I have tried to contact several people, including official Embassy workers with limited results. So please, if there is a chance, help me with these numbers to identify the recovered remains. thanks a lot for your help. Would you have any contact persons who could have access to serial numbers from the TsAMO in Podolsk? I would need a few critical numbers to identify some wreckages... We know everything about them: the date, the crew list, plane, unit, we just need the numbers, because sometimes more planes crashed at the same location, so we cannot tell which crew went down at a certain place from the many we know. We have some serial plates recovered, but we don't know which plane they belonged to. Thanks,
